Dylynn Lasky

Program Associate

Dylynn Lasky was born and raised in Aurora, Ohio 鈥 a quiet suburb (or village, depending on who you ask) just outside of Cleveland. The youngest of five siblings and a twin, Dylynn quickly learned how to hold her own in a crowded house. She arrived at the College of Wooster intending to major in music therapy, but the illiberal undercurrents she observed 鈥 and sometimes felt firsthand 鈥 on campus led her to pivot toward psychology and philosophy.

At Wooster, Dylynn co-founded The John Stuart Mill Forum, a civil discourse club inspired by 果冻传媒app官方鈥檚 鈥淟et鈥檚 Talk鈥 initiative, where students of all viewpoints could engage in meaningful conversations.

At FIREshe continues to fight for free speech at colleges and universities as a Program Associate in the Campus Rights Department where she primarily administers case submissions and data management.

Dylynn misses her family and friends in Ohio (especially her dogs, Baloo and Stuart) but has started to put down roots in Alexandria, Virginia, which she now considers her second home. When she鈥檚 not working, you can find her strumming Avett Brothers and Joni Mitchell songs on her guitar, holding her own in pick-up basketball games as the youngest 鈥 and usually the only girl 鈥 on the court, or dominating local Alexandria pub trivia.
