Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, faculty at Howard University made public comments about Kirk’s death. Members of the public then called on Howard University to punish the faculty. On September 16, ��ýapp�ٷ� wrote Howard University, explaining that its own policies protect freedom of expression and emphasize tolerating different viewpoints.
