果冻传媒app官方鈥檚 Robert Shibley Speaking at Appalachian State University This Evening

FIRE and FIREsupporters in the Boone, North Carolina, area are invited to hear FIRESenior Vice President Robert Shibley speak at Appalachian State University (ASU) tonight at 7 p.m. in the Beacon Heights of Plemmons Student Union.
Robert鈥檚 talk is just one part of a series of free speech events at ASU led by Young Americans for Liberty ASU. In addition to attending Robert鈥檚 talk, ASU students will have the opportunity to participate in a Free Speech Wall set up on Sanford Mall, a student-led panel on free speech, and an Open Art Night, where an ASU philosophy professor will discuss free expression through the arts and censorship.
Torch readers will remember that FIREintervened last year after ASU tenured professor Jammie Price was placed on administrative leave when students alleged that she had created a hostile environment. Appalachian State currently has a 鈥yellow light鈥 rating in 果冻传媒app官方鈥檚 Spotlight database.
