Georgetown is a “red light” school in ������ýapp�ٷ�’s Spotlight database, which means the school has at least one speech code that both clearly and substantially restricts freedom of expression. Though Georgetown is a private institution, it clearly promises students freedom of expression in its speech and expression . Fortunately, as we reported back in October, efforts are underway within the Georgetown University Student Association to make the school’s policies clearer and more protective of free speech.
