Years 7 to 10 students at 果冻传媒app官方 Secondary College participate in practical Physical Education classes.

Physical Education classes provide students with the opportunity to develop their physical and social health. Through participation in a range of sports and leisure activities students are encouraged to find activities that will help them to be active for life. Our program emphasises participation, the development of movement skills and game sense. We value the relationships that students develop with their teacher. In some year levels we put students with others of like ability to maximise learning confidence, student comfort and skill development. Students in Year 9 have the opportunity to become a qualified sports coach. In Year 10 students are engaged in a range of sports science topic. Our program extends to multiple classes in VCE.

We are proud to deliver an age appropriate Health curriculum from Years 7 to 10. Our objective is to provide students with the information that they need to make informed choices about their lifestyle and risk taking activities. A skills based program is aimed at equipping students with the skills that are needed to cope with teenage life. Through the Health content students are encouraged to consider the physical, social and mental health of themselves and how their actions affect the health of those around them. Risk taking behaviour and health lifestyles is the focus of the Years 7 to 9 curriculum. Students in Year 10 continue to be engaged in the risk taking content and begin to explore the various aspects of Health and Development. Students in Year 10 also have the option of a pre VCE health elective. Health and Human Development is offered to students at VCE level with students accessing this subject from Year 10 onwards.
